One of the greatest most effective ways of sharing the gospel is Prayer Evangelism. It comes straight out of the New Testament as both Jesus, and later the Apostles, reached out first to the felt needs of the people and then communicated to them the transforming message of salvation. Prayer Stations is just one expression of this age-old Biblical evangelism strategy! YWAM Metro NY introduced Prayer Stations to the Body of Christ in 1992. Since that time it has spread around the world and has become a powerful tool to meet people’s felt needs and bring them into the Kingdom of God.
Invest your time in learning the Ways of God and how you can give away the greatest asset God has given His children “access with God” to a hurting and needy world. People need the Lord; they need His help, healing, provision, and most of all, His salvation.
The 3 month lecture phase of this new dynamic DTS will teach the YWAM Discipleship Training School curriculum as well as give special training in Prayer Evangelism both by classroom instruction and practical outreach opportunities.
The outreach phase will take place in Mexico where our students and staff will join many YWAMers from South, Central and North America in a special focus on Mexico City. We call it the “Mega-Cities Project”. Prayer Stations has received one of the best receptions over the years in Mexico City and been powerfully effective there on the streets and in the market places. Because of the rich Christian heritage of Mexico, people are very open to prayer and to the message of the gospel.

The school will be directed by Nick Savoca, a 37 year veteran of YWAM. Nick is the Director and Founder of YWAM Metro NY, as well as the YWAM North American Cities Director and founder of the Prayer Station ministry. New York City and Long Island will be your laboratory for the first three months followed by powerful ministry experiences in the world’s largest city!
This DTS is fully registered with YWAM’s University of the Nations. Students will receive full university credits toward a possible degree.
