Do you have a desire to cultivate a living relationship with a living God?
DTS is a life altering, no turning back experience with Jesus. Every week you will be encouraged to grow and stretch yourself into the person God created you to be.
The first part is called Lecture Phase. This takes place in a classroom-like set up, where each week we learn and discuss different topics.
The second part is called Outreach Phase. This is a 8-10 week period of traveling to another part of the world, where you will be encouraged to not focus on yourself but to serve God and others with a willing heart, as well as put into practice what you learned on lecture phase.
Prerequisites
You must be at least 18 years of age, or have graduated high school (or equivalent) to participate in the Discipleship Training School. If you are married, both husband and wife must complete the school together.
We will be running a multi-track DTS - Fall of 2010
"Multi-Track" means that in addition to the Discipleship Training School core curriculum set by Youth With A Mission’s University of the Nations, each student will also be given a choice of special focus during their School.
Lets take a quick look at the available tracks for the upcoming Fall DTS 2010...
Classic Track
The grass roots of YWAM, with opportunity for exposure to a number of ministry training and outreach opportunities throughout the lecture phase. Possible outreach locations include: Cambodia, San Fransisco, New York City, Washington D.C. or in Mexico City joining with the Mega-Cities project.

Prayer Evangelism Track
In 1992, YWAM Metro New York introduced the ministry of Prayer Stations to the Body of Christ. Since then, hundreds of Prayer Stations have been used world wide. Students in this track will learn how to use Prayer Stations effectively as well as teaching and training others to be involved with this strategic evangelism tool. The Outreach will be in Mexico City joining with the Mega-Cities project.
