One of the greatest most effective ways of sharing the gospel is Prayer Evangelism. It comes straight out of the New Testament as both Jesus, and later the Apostles, reached out first to the felt needs of the people and then communicated to them the transforming message of salvation. Prayer Stations is just one expression of this age-old Biblical evangelism strategy! YWAM Metro NY introduced Prayer Stations to the Body of Christ in 1992. Since that time it has spread around the world and has become a powerful tool to meet people’s felt needs and bring them into the Kingdom of God.

The Basic Strategy

 

The ministry of Prayer Stations is based on the fact that we are providing an opportunity to pray for people who have a variety of needs and believing that God will hear our prayer and act on behalf of those for whom we pray. Our prayer of faith then becomes a starting point for us to share our faith.

This is your chance to make a difference in another country!

Our Global Outreach (GO) Teams exists to connect people who are not currently serving in ministry with an opportunity to serve in missions, allowing them to reach the unreached and forgotten. A typical GO team will be serving in their location for 10 days.

What if you could gather people from all nations into one place to share with them the hope of Jesus Christ? What if you could reach the rich, the poor, the famous, the ordinary, the not-so-ordinary all in one city?
